I have had 2 great experiences with TLC Mechanical. Once about 3 years ago when we had a heating issue, and just recently with an air conditioning issue. Both times they were on time and called ahead to allow me to work and get there when needed without having to take a whole day off. My issues were both solved and the pricing was very reasonable.

My 89 year old mother-in-law's boiler stopped working on Sunday and she was in a panic.  I went down the list of the HVAC contractors closest to her home and starting calling.   After getting answering machines for the first few companies, I called TLC and Matt answered.  Matt said he would arrive in about an hour (which he did).  Matt fix the boiler and got the heat running !!!!   Thank you Matt...terrific service !!!!

There should be 10 stars for Matt and T.L.C. Mechanical. I have an 1882 Historic Victorian home in Cape May and before Matt, I went through a lot of people who "repaired" things only to have them break again. When Matt does it, it's once and done. Also, no surprises with a fluctuating quote (boy do I hate that with others!) Matt has a book that says how much you'll pay and it's always reasonable - especially since you know it's done perfectly. Also, holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas -oops- have had to call him on one of these at least and late on a Friday night in the middle of winter when I came home to notice my pipe burst. It just doesn't get any better than T.L.C. Mechanical. It's absolutely THE VERY BEST!!! Not only that, but I was sure I wanted a Kohler toilet, until Matt pointed me to a video of a Gerber and the capacity and the usage it can handle (and with 24 renters I need a lot!), I installed the Gerber and NOT 1 service call this summer for the first time, ever. Liked it so much I called him to put in another in my 3rd floor bathroom on a Sat. morning and he did it that day by noon - now that's service!!!!

We had an emergency with our hot water heater...it broke, and was leaking water all over our utility room where our heater is housed. We called T.L.C., and they immediately helped us to diagnose the problem. They were out on site that same day, and replaced our hot water heater before any additional damage could be done. Before replacing the unit, they carefully described all our options and let us choose our best course of action. They treated us as educated consumers, and allowed us to understand the pluses and minuses of each potential course of action. In addition, they gave us feedback on our other mechanical systems, letting us know that they saw some other potential future issues and giving us advise on when/how to address them. I highly recommend T.L.C. to anyone needing mechanical work!

When I needed a gas fireplace installed I googled and found T.L.C. Mechanical. Matt Calloway is professional, nice, fast, and affordable. He did excellent work and The Fireplace People when I told them I was using him said "we use Matt for everything." I can see why! So, when I went down last weekend because my mom went in the hospital and found on a Sat. night that my water pipes had froze and burst I didn't know what to do. I called my handyman- no response. I called the local plumber- no response. I googled again and who came up? Matt of TLC Mechanical. He came right over, fixed it, and even gave me a break on the emergency fee. Not only that, 2 days later when my mom got out of the hospital, he made a same day visit to her place to fix some plumbing and her fireplace. Now I'm making a list for my husband of contacts for repairs in Cape May and he needs 1 number- Matt's. After looking over a list of 20 people I no longer use because of their "changing bills" (something that doesn't happen with Matt because he has a laminated book of standard charges for work, so you know what to expect, but seemed to always happen with others), shoddy work (that sometimes had to be done over), I can now say if Matt does it he's the only one I'll turn to! As my title says- TLC is the Best EVER!

I've had them work on various plumbing problems, ranging from broken pipes, water heater replacement, and clogged drains, as well as routine maintenance on heating/air conditioning, and natural gas fireplace. They are flexible with scheduling, are very reliable, and take the time to explain problems and discuss solutions. Highly recommend!

Matt brings a level of service you just don't see often any more. I called at 7:30am with a leaking water heater. He was at my house 45 minutes later. He explained what was wrong and why, pointed out some issues and handed me a fair price. He wore booties in the house, cleaned up his work area, and went over everything he did as well as warranty information. I can't say enough that THIS IS THE COMPANY TO CALL. I will be calling T.L.C. when (and it's just a matter of WHEN not IF) my AC and heater go!

When I called and stated our problem, he fit us in promptly, showed up when he promised and fixed the problem. He called the tenant as well as us and eliminated the hassle for us to relay messages to the tenant. This company is on our "Company to use" list for any future repairs or improvements concerning our heating and air conditioning needs.

Had a major problem with a septic sewer mainline. Called TLC told them what we needed. Matt conway came over, looked at the problem and gave us a price. He said he would be there on a certain date  and time. Having dealt with contractors in Cape May County before , many times they don't show up as promised, it's Cape May....Maybe they'll show up, Maybe they won't. Well Matt and his crew showed up as promised, actually an hour earlier. I had to make some adjustments to the original route of the sewer line due to a garden my late father had planted and Matt said no problem. They were there all day replacing the line. Ya know how you know when you have selected a great company? It's when you see the boss actually down in the hole digging and putting in the new line with his men, and that's where I saw Matt!

Joe arrived as expected and demonstrated his concern for cleanliness by offering to put covers on his work boots. After completing the required paperwork his concern for cleanliness continued while repairing a back-up in our kitchen drain. The job was done properly with minimal spillage of the water and debris that blocked the pipe. He needs to be commended for his outstanding customer service and for a job well done.

We called Matt at 6 am because our heater was not working. He responded quickly and was honest with me, about  what time he could arrive. When he came he didn't have the part on his truck, he went out and found the part and fixed my heating system, he was  prompt, efficient, professional and affordable for an emergency situation when the temps were in the single digits. After he completed the job he stayed to be sure everything was working to it's optimal performance!  I highly recommend TLC Mechanical and Matt, in partiular, for excellent service!  We lost our AC on the hottest day of the year! (Of course!) It was a Sunday around 6:00 pm. when we realized the house was awfully hot and that our AC was definitely not working.  I began calling about 8 to 10 HVAC companies and either got voice mail or an offer to come on Monday to take a look at our unit. Several of these companies were advertised to be 24/7 service, so needless to say, I was pretty disappointed. Matt came to our rescue, arriving close to 10 pm. He had to go up on the roof to check things out, wound up going back to his office to get a part and finished up the job around midnight! The hum of our AC unit was the sweetest sound ever! My grandson, daughter and granddog were VERY happy! We all slept well last night and want to say a huge thank you to Matt for his professionalism and kindness in helping us out!

TLC is Terrific

Fantastic job on our brand new combi hot water/heating unit in our new home!. TLC's attention to detail is fantastic..All hoses, parts, pipes and pieces were cut down precisely to length and look so nice and neat! Matt was extremely courteous and professional during the entire heating system changeover. He spent a lot of time going over the workings of the system and the new phone app controls so that we were very comfortable operating the system after the job was done. The job site was always neat and clean after each days work was completed. Our new heating system keeps our home cozy and warm now and our hot water on demand as well as our increased water pressure is so much better than before. We've had TLC install a reverse osmosis water filtration system and a garbage disposal system which look so neat and tidy under the sink. Matt kept everything neat and tidy under the sink to maximize the space so we can still put cleaning supplies underneath. TLC also installed some top notch shower heads in our bathrooms as well as an outdoor foot rinsing spray head  for when we came back from the beach.. We feel we definitely got our money's worth and that  they do the same kind of work as if they were working in their own homes and will always return to TLC for all our plumbing heating needs.

I was referred TLC by Whippoorwill Campground to repair our central air unit in our park model. Matt Holloway was the mechanic that showed up within an hour of me calling. Not only was Matt an excellent mechanic, he is also a fantastic person. He went above and beyond the call of duty. We were extremely satisfied with TLC and especially Matt. Thank you very much.

Had a plumbing emergency and Mart came right out and worked until late into the night. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Highly recommend TLC

We have used this company once before to correct problems with our gas fireplace. They quickly responded to our call and arrived well in advance of the anticipated time. The technicians fixed the problem and left the fireplace and the area around it clean. I would not hesitate to contact them again if necessary.

Fireplace needed a cleaning & remote replacement, Charles took care of our needs, thoroughly explaining everything.  Nice to have great service from Charles!
